Ferratelle Abruzzesi, also known as Pizzelle or Neole depending on the area, are a typical dessert from Abruzzo.
These crispy and light wafers are prepared with a simple mixture of eggs, sugar, extra virgin olive oil, flour and grated lemon peel.
The cooking takes place using a typical plate, which prints different designs on the wafers.
